# Many at once

> Run several coding agents side by side on one big machine, each in its own git worktree, without slowing your laptop.

Two or three agents at once is where a laptop starts to struggle: the fans spin up, builds slow down and your editor
lags. A shedix machine gives them room. An L has 8 vCPU and 16 GB of RAM for $0.32/hr, and an XL twice that.

## How it works

1. Your agent starts a machine and clones the repository into `~/work`.
2. It makes one git worktree per task, so every agent has its own branch and folder.
3. It starts a Claude Code session for each task in its own tmux session.
4. You open any of them from the machine's page, in a browser or on your phone, and check in as they go.

## Good to know

- Claude Code needs you to sign in on the machine once; after that every session there uses it.
- Worktrees share one copy of the repository's history, so a dozen of them cost little disk.
- Each machine's Files panel shows `~/work`, so you can grab results without a terminal.
