Use case
Many at once
Run several coding agents side by side on one big machine, each in its own git worktree, without slowing your laptop.
Two or three agents at once is where a laptop starts to struggle: the fans spin up, builds slow down and your editor lags. A shed machine gives them room. An L has 8 vCPU and 16 GB of RAM for $0.32/hr, and an XL twice that.
How it works
- Your agent starts a machine and clones the repository into
~/work. - It makes one git worktree per task, so every agent has its own branch and folder.
- It starts a Claude Code session for each task in its own tmux session.
- You open any of them from the machine's page, in a browser or on your phone, and check in as they go.
Good to know
- Claude Code needs you to sign in on the machine once; after that every session there uses it.
- Worktrees share one copy of the repository's history, so a dozen of them cost little disk.
- Each machine's Files panel shows
~/work, so you can grab results without a terminal.
The prompt
Paste it into Claude Code, Codex or Cursor. The copy on the shed page adds the address and a new token for your account.
I want several tasks worked on in parallel on shed instead of on this computer. Ask me for the tasks if I haven't listed them. Then use this project's shed machine if I have one (start it if it's stopped), or start one for it (size l), clone this repository into ~/work, make one git worktree per task, and start a Claude Code session in tmux for each, named after its task. Claude Code needs me to sign in on the machine once, so ask me first. Tell me the tmux session names when they're running.Copy the prompt
